Message by the Management

Anil Jain The foundation of Kabli Mal Ramji Das Jain College for women Malerkotla was laid in 1970 with the aim of imparting quality education to the socially, economically and educationally backward students of the area. The unique feature of this college lies in the fact that a large number of Mohammedan girls get the facility of receiving higher education here. After getting proper education from this educational institution, thousands of these girls participate with their good activities in various fields of society.

Affiliated to the Punjabi University Patiala in 1981, this educational institution is constantly on the way of progress. Since 1999, this institution has been getting economic aid from Punjab Government Under 95% grant-in-aid scheme and also aid from the University Grant Commission under various schemes since March 2004.

The administration of the K.M.R. D. Jain College for women Malerkotla is being run by Kabli Mal Jain Trust, Asif Ali Road, New Delhi. The managing committee of this college has always been at its best for expanding the basic infrastructure of the college and also for starting new courses for the students of this institution. As a result, the college has a large building with spacious airy rooms, large library and well equipped labs with modern equipment. The facility of fee concession is provided to the poor deserving girls. Transportation is well maintained for the girls, especially for those who are coming from the rural areas.

The different courses like M.A. Hindi, Punjabi, English, M.Sc (IT), M.Sc (IT) (Lateral Entry), B.C.A., P.G.D.C.A., B.A., and B.Com are running successfully in this college. After getting due approval from the University in 2015-16, M.Com Classes have also been introduced in this college. Some other vocational courses are also successfully running hare.

Providing higher education to the girl students, K.M.R.D. Jain College is the oldest educational institution in this whole area. This is the only college in the whole area where University recognized post-graduation classes are imparted education. The constant development of the institution is the urgent need of the area.

We can well hope that after getting proper education from this oldest institution of the area, the girls will contribute their good services to the society as its responsible citizens

With best wishes
